LOCAL: Batting cage is available

The Pipestone Parks and Recreation Department has a batting cage located in the blue building at the Pipestone County Fairgrounds. The physical address for the fairgrounds is 10th Avenue SE. To use the batting cage, a key is available at the Ewert Recreation Center during open hours. It must be returned 15 minutes prior to the center closing. That means it must be returned by 8:45 p.m. Monday-Friday or 4:45 p.m. on weekends.  Only parents/adults are allowed to check out the key, and he or she must be present in the blue building at all times.
