Local Business Spotlight: Lotus Psychotherapy - The Refuge

from Eye On Annapolis Daily News Brief · host John Frenaye

As a society, we are finally at a place where we recognize that mental health is equally as important as physical health. And thankfully, we have folks out there that are able to help us. Today we speak with Allison Scarinzi who is the owner of Lotus Psychotherapy and The Refuge; along with Chelsea Tarleton and Michelle Case. We take a dive into the stigmas surrounding mental health, the various treatments available, and some of the signs that a friend or loved one may be struggling. We snuggled up on the couch with Gus (an amazing Golden Retriever) and got into the weeds of individual and group therapies.. Lotus Psychotherapy and The Refuge have a team of people to address virtually all aspects of mental health and to help you deal with it. We all suffer to some degree and it is foolish to ignore it. When your tooth hurts you go to the dentist because you know it now going to get better on its own. Same for that rattle in your car. Curious? Have a listen!
