Local Business Spotlight: Real BFFs Annapolis

Holly Hendrickson joins us today to discuss Real BFFs Annapolis, a women's friendship community serving Annapolis, Anne Arundel County and surrounding areas. Hendrickson explains how her own difficulty making new friends as an adult led her to create the group in 2021. What began with a Facebook page and a dinner for 12 women has grown into a network of nearly 4,000 members, with events ranging from brunches and book clubs to craft nights, walks, mixers, and themed dinners.  The conversation also covers the challenges of adult friendship, the importance of social wellness, how new members can ease into the group and the organization's plans to work with more local businesses and eventually create a permanent clubhouse.
