LOCAL: Corvette wins "Best in Show" at Dahl Motors event

Dahl Motors conducted its third annual car show at the “dealership of the crossroads” at United States Highway 75 and State Highways 23 and 30 in Pipestone. Owner/CEO Scott Dahl reported 51 entries for the three-hour event. The overall winner was this 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Retromod owned by Jim and Janet Voges of rural Slayton. A retromod is a classic vehicle restored to preserve a vintage look, but upgraded with modern parts and mechanics for improved performance, safety and comfort. The 1961 Corvette featured a design upgrade with a four-taillight rear, a new and different mesh grille and V8 engine.... Article Link
