Presenting Season 3, Episode 7 of the #MeettheMancunian #podcast #mancunian #manchester #localhistory #community Hosted by Deepa Thomas-Sutcliffe (https://www.instagram.com/meetthemancunian/). This week's Mancunian guest is Libby Edwards, Chair,  Friends of Baguley Hall (https://baguleyhall.org.uk/) as well as Heritage Co-ordinator and Vice Chair, Friends of Wythenshawe Hall (https://wythenshawehall.com/). Libby talks about the plans for reopening Wythenshawe Hall in September 2022 as well as future plans for community events in both historic halls. Libby advises listeners considering similar initiatives to preserve local history to consider working in partnership with the organisation or government that owns the historic building rather than work independently. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/deepa-thomas-sutcliffe/message
