LOCAL NEWS - 12 PM Update

Parliament is underway at this hour - this morning, MP's paid tribute to a number of Caymanian women for their contributions to the Cayman Islands before moving on to parliamentary questions. The People's Progressive Movement says it welcomes the government's announcement of 9 Million dollars worth of fuel relief measures but points out -that MP Roy McTaggart put forward a Private Member's Motion to waive fuel import duty several weeks ago. Folks in Little Cayman spent Saturday at Blossom Village Park for a day long celebration of local agricultural and island tradition...as the island hosted its 13th Annual Agricultural Show.#rcnews #radiocayman #caymannews
