Local Oddities: The Pope Lick Monster
from Lost in the Pages Hosted by Rumors & Confabulation
We're coming back to our home state of Kentucky with one of the deadliest cryptids in the USA, everyone's favorite goatman, The Pope Lick Monster! At the Pope Lick Trestle Bridge just outside of Lousiville, dozens of injuries and even deaths have occurred over the decades when people climb to the top of the rail tracks; are these tragedies caused by simple lack of awareness or is there something more sinister at play? Join us as we go into the legend of the half man, half goat, half sheep (or something like that) creature that paralyzes drunk teenagers with fear! We also take a brief dip into the legends of other Goatman found across the Bluegrass State. Email us at [email protected] with your thoughts, theories and encounters!
