Local Oddities: The Turtleman

from Lost in the Pages · host Rumors & Confabulation

Live action! Remember when reality shows about weird southern people was all over cable tv? Well, in this episode we talk all about the modern Kentucky legend, The Turtleman! Ernie Brown Jr aka The Turtleman or the Wildman was the star of the flash in the pan hit Animal Planet Show, Call of the Wildman. Join us as Isaac, John, Dalton and special guest Jacob (still with us from France) go into depth on how this crazy guy from Gravel Switch, Kentucky got famous (and why the show only lasted 4 seasons). You'll also hear a totally unrelated story from Dalton's youth about King Kong.
