The right-hander with the electric stuff gave up two runs- one earned- on five hits in 4 2/3 innings. Jeff McNeil hit two home runs on a three-hit, three-RBI night for the Mets, 49-47. The Marlins (34-63) lost ten of their last twelve games heading into the all-star break. Those two wins were over the MLB-worst Chicago White Sox. The Marlins and Mets play game two of this four-game series tomorrow at in Miami.
