Lockes and Keys

We watched season 1 of the Netflix series Locke & Key, a supernatural horror drama based on the comic book series of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez. (Neither of us has read the comic series.) We thoroughly enjoyed watching these episodes together. Grams failed to mention another Black character, Zadie, one of Scot’s friends in the “Savini Squad.” She was still alive at the end of season 1, and we might see her again in season 2. If you’re a Savini fan, you may have noticed his cameo in the second episode, “Trapper/Keeper” as the local hardware shop owner who knows about keys. If you like supernatural horror drama, we highly recommend this series. Leave a comment! Or, send us suggestions (that are appropriate for an 11-year old) at [email protected].
