Loke vows to fight against those who withdrew support; Akmal responds to calls to quit

[KiniNews] DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke has labelled the Negeri Sembilan Umno leadership as traitors and rebels against the constitutional monarchy system in the state.Although he did not explicitly name the party or individuals, he claimed the Negeri Sembilan coalition government leadership should have come together to weather a crisis.However, he said some quarters chose to stab them in the back and attempted to topple the state government led by PKR’s Aminuddin Harun.Meanwhile, in a separate story, Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has made a constitutional argument as to why he is still a Malacca state executive councillor despite having pledged to resign.Akmal said that he tendered his resignation on Jan 19 and sent letters to Chief Minister Ab Rauf Yusoh and Governor Ali Rustam.“But it (resignation) was not assented to by the governor.
