London BTC's Black Star project hits 16g/t gold as Nevada portfolio grows to four

London BTC Company Ltd (LSE:BTC, OTCQB:VINZF) chairman David Lenigas joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion to discuss the Black Star gold project and the company's growing Nevada portfolio. Black Star is London BTC's fourth Nevada project, with surface sampling returning gold grades of up to 16 grams per tonne and silver of around 50 grams per tonne. Lenigas said the results are particularly encouraging given that the mineralisation occurs at surface and the project has seen little modern exploration. "Our philosophy here is to build this up the value chain," he said, with laboratory results pending across all four projects. On the broader strategy, Lenigas explained that London BTC operates around 1,100 bitcoin miners in the US, targeting 1,500 to 2,000 by year-end across the US and Canada, while using part of its bitcoin holdings to develop a gold-focused hedge. The company remains debt-free, with the gold and silver portfolio designed to generate US dollar value for reinvestment into additional bitcoin and mining equipment. Future catalysts include further assay results, additional project acquisitions, fleet expansion and continued consideration of a Nasdaq dual listing.
