Welcome to London, Kentucky, home of the World Chicken Festival!  London is located in southeastern Kentucky in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.  The area provides access to numerous biking and hiking trails in the Daniel Boone National Forest.  The town is located near Corbin, the home of the first Kentucky Fried Chicken.  The World Chicken Festival is held annually in town to celebrate all things KFC and uses the "world's largest stainless steel skillet" to fry up to 600 chicken quarters at one time.  We hope you enjoy our trip to London!Small Town News--whose headline is it, anyway? @SmallTownNewsImprov
