Lone Peak Shatters Rankings with Six-Goal Surge | Salt Lake City News

Lone Peak’s girls soccer team stunned No. 3 ranked American Fork with a six-goal second half demolition, extending their win streak to eight games and finally mastering regulation finishes after a string of overtime heartbreakers. The breakthrough came just two minutes into the second half—a header off a corner—followed by a penalty, two quick goals, and another two, including a hat trick for one player. Coaches credit focused halftime adjustments and a team that’s fully bought into their culture, turning a slow start into a dominant surge that signals they’re ready to dominate the rest of the season.
