Loneliness, Yet Another Epidemic
from NONPERISHABLE GOODS Hosted by NON-PERISHABLE GOODS
“Loneliness, Yet Another Epidemic” @nonperishablegoods podcast episode #57 Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, recently released an advisory on how to address another public health crisis here in America called, "Our Epidemic of Loneliness and Isolation". This 82 page advisory lays out a game plan for individuals, corporations and organizations on the healing effects of social connection and community. We all love technology, and we think it's keeping us connected, but in fact it's taking away the in-person connection that all humans have needed since the beginning of time. We discuss it all and then some on this episode. Here is the link to the advisory. https://www.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/surgeon-general-social-connection-advisory.pdf Really Not Radio presents a fresh, open-minded podcast hosted by Lee Bishop aka @vaschon_dragon and baby Stace.
