Long Hidden Secrets, pt 1

The hunters gather in the local Waffle House to catch Darren, our Mundane, up on what all has been going on. They end up terrorizing the other person on shift, a talented cook named Steve, but eventually, they get Darren up to speed on what they have learned so far. Bart explains that he believes he can remove the corruption from the protector spirit, but he may need the others’ help. He also goes through a list of things that could happen during the ritual and which ones to worry about. Roz takes detailed notes, of course. After the creature has been saved, their next task will be finding the mysterious Object 51, which they are sure is in the lab. They don’t know what it is but they do know that whenever the scientist messes with it, the creature is affected. So once they cleanse the spirit, they will need to break into the lab to nullify the object. They are going to need to case the lab to find a way in, and Hock has a plan. They all load up and start driving to the lab. On the way, Hock asks Darren about a job he needs Darren to do. It is potentially dangerous, but they both need the money.
