Long-term-care residents are facing unprecedented loneliness and depression

But there's an added staffing crisis as well. With their caregivers and health workers burnt out, leaving for good or sick themselves, older people are losing their essential support systems and residents are facing unprecedented loneliness and depression. Investigative reporter Moira Welsh explains what it's been like for the emotional health of the residents in some of those homes.
