It’s Longhorn Monday, and the Texas Longhorns football program is making significant noise in the transfer portal, landing some tremendous new talent. The College Football National Championship matchup is officially set after the Indiana Hoosiers delivered a 56–22 beatdown of the Oregon Ducks. On the hardwood, the Texas Men’s Basketball team pulled off a massive 92–88 upset over No. 13 Alabama, fueled by a huge night from guard Jordan Pope. Meanwhile, the No. 2-ranked Texas Women’s Basketball team suffered a tough road loss against the No. 12 LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge. The NFL Playoffs Wild Card Round kicked off with fireworks, as four of the five games came down to last-minute drives. The weekend wraps up on Monday Night Football, with the Houston Texans facing the Pittsburgh Steelers, as the winner earns a trip to Foxborough to take on the New England Patriots.
