Longhorn Monday: Texas Sweeps OU, Sean Miller’s Milestone, Boxing Hair Raiser, Rick Barnes’ Gaffe & Super Bowl Talk

Today is “Longhorn Monday.” The Texas Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams swept the Oklahoma Sooners with a 78-70 women’s victory and a 79-69 victory for the men.  Men’s Head Coach Sean Miller gets his 500-career victory, and Women’s Head Coach Vic Schafer thanks the fans for the intense environment. The Longhorn baseball team held its alumni game, and fans got to see some of the new talent.  A boxer had a hair-raising experience Saturday night. We give a preview of the Super Bowl and give our opinion on the head coaching moves in the NFL. Tennessee Men’s Basketball Head Coach Rick Barnes might’ve put his foot in his mouth.
