Longwood University Athletics Honors Top Performers

David Ambaek and Maggie Chapin, graduating seniors from mens soccer and softball respectively, were named the Henry E. Willett Scholar-Athlete Award recipients. Timéo Puech in mens tennis and Malea Brown in womens basketball were crowned Athlete of the Year. The tennis coaching staff won Staff of the Year, and Nicole Pinder from womens cross country received the Jimmy em Yarborough Award. Freshmen Jackson Garland in baseball and Sam Fischer in womens soccer also received recognition. The Roberts family and all-academic teams were also honored.
