Jesus looked at the crowds and saw something most people might have overlooked: people who were weary, scattered, hurting, and in need of a shepherd. His response was compassion—and His compassion moved Him to action. In this message, we look at what Jesus' compassion means for His disciples. If Jesus cares deeply about people's physical and spiritual needs, His followers should care too. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. So Jesus gives us a simple place to begin: pray for the Lord of the harvest to send workers—and be willing to let Him use us.
