Pop that champagne and roll up a joint, because WOAF is turning one this week and dammit, we deserve to be celebrated.    We’ve flawlessly and effortlessly kept this podcast horse train on the tracks for a full year now, so to commemorate our ginormous ADHD accomplishment we’re spending this episode doing a year in review. We’re looking back at how far we’ve come, what we’ve learned so far, favorite episodes, all the ways this podcast has changed us, and all the ways it hasn’t.    Plus, we puddle-jump from one silly segment to the next as Kristin dives thighs-first into a new cult lifestyle, Grace longs for the simpler days of the bowl cut, and we both share Spanish class trip Pizza Secrets that live in our middle school hearts forever.    What started as a way to spite our enemies has blossomed into a somewhat legitimate ADHD podcast with a loyal fanbase of fellow weirdos who support us in our ongoing mission to spite our enemies, and how beautiful is that? Come celebrate a year of WOAF in this chaotic but well-meaning look-backisode, we couldn’t have made it here without you. Well, most of you.

VideoDestruct Podcast VideoDestruct Our weekly podcast where we play a video game and then we talk about it! Hoss (one of our hosts) has a weird encyclopedic knowledge of linking six degrees of any video game developer and we like to break down the historical and cultural significance of a classic or modern game and it’s impact on the video game industry. Explicit That Weird Ass Podcast! Natalie and Maggie Welcome to That Weird Ass Podcast! (TWAP for short.) We honestly have no idea what we're doing, but join us on this wild ride. We talk about random things each episode, so hopefully you won't get bored. If you're starting with our first episode, buckle up because it's gonna be one hell of a bumpy ride! Explicit Nearly Qualified Abpor - Rob Musings of a reclusive video game nerd working in telco who typically ends up far too deep down the rabbit hole. I wanted to share a vehicle for developing my understanding of myself, over-committing to new things and how we fit into a weird cosmic jigsaw puzzle when all the pieces keep changing their sides. I marry my experience in video games with my background in psychology, automation and my career in corporate environments to produce thoughtful and relevant commentary. Explicit Galaktacus Jim Kettner, John Mihaly, and Scott Brown The name Galaktacus originates from a youthful mispronunciation of a classic comic book character best known for eating planets. Before all of the blockbuster film franchises and the non-stop spoiler-filled internet coverage there was limited space to openly discuss such topics let alone their proper pronunciations. ("Is it Mag-neato or Mag-net-o?") So with that in mind, what started as a long-running, inside joke has now become a word that best defines the spirit of this podcast—looking at comic books, sci-fi, film, television, music, literature and gaming from the perspective of individuals who have grown up in this evolving "nerd culture" and are amazed by the ways in which it has taken over the mainstream. Galaktacus attempts to eschew that "angry nerd" character and celebrate the good, the bad and the weird that comes along with this current golden age of pop culture. So let the devouring begin!
