Looking and feeling good: There's a niche, just for you!

from Encouraging women to live well · host Zenobia DeVeaux Bailey

A retired teacher for disabled adults, Anita Beck has always loved sewing and interior design.  From both "loves," Nickky's Niche Designs was born.   As women, we generally seem to have a need for comfort and functionality.  We see this when we consider the rooms we use the most and the clothing we wear the most. In response to these perceived needs, Anita created a line of garments that are not only wrinkle resistant but also comfortable and flattering for today's active lifestyles. Each of her designs, including dresses, skirts, slacks, shawls, vests, jackets, and formal wear, is hand created. Anita says, "my designs travel well and so do I.  As a mobile boutique, I can bring the store right to your door." Room makeovers are another aspect of her overall dynamic creations where she implements the same design concepts of fun, comfort, affordability, and functionality.  Anita says she feels blessed to be able to do the things she enjoys.    To preview Nikky's Niche Designs, please visit www.nikky'sniche.net.  Then, join our podcast Monday, April 11th at 3:30 pm, PST.  To speak directly with Anita, during the show, phone (646) 716-8344.
