Looking Back Before Moving Forward

We’re Back: Looking Back Before Moving Forward After a season apart, we’re back together—and honestly? It feels really good. This episode kicks off our first conversation of 2026, and instead of rushing straight into goals, plans, and “what’s next,” we decided to pause. To look back. To name what was beautiful, what was hard, and what we’re ready to leave behind. In Part 1, we cover: What it felt like to come back together after a season of Sabbath and solo episodes Why stepping away (or holding things down alone) can be both holy and hard A real, unfiltered reflection on the last year—what went well, what didn’t, and what stretched us Gratitude for growth that came through discomfort Honoring the quiet seasons that don’t look productive but change us deeply This isn’t a highlight reel or a polished recap. It’s two friends sitting down, telling the truth about a year that shaped us—and making space for God to speak before we sprint into the new one. If you’re feeling the tension of: Loving God but feeling tired Grateful for growth but still carrying some grief Ready for a new year but needing a moment to breathe …this conversation is for you. Stick with us for Part 2 and Part 3, where we’ll unpack Sabbath, community, relationship with God, and what we’re carrying forward into this next season—together. 💛 Thanks for being here. We’re really glad you are.
