This is a global player original podcast. Hello, it's Katie here. And Sam from You're Wrong About ADHD. As we reached the end of the year, we wanted to take a moment to look back at everything we have dug into together in 2025.

It's been a year of big conversations, honest reflections, and a lot of learning about what it really means to live with ADHD. We talked about anxiety that sometimes can feel like it never gives you a day off, the self-talk that can knock you sideways, and the weight of growing up feeling out of step with everyone else. We explored what we might say to our younger selves, especially those moments when you wish someone had told you that you were doing the best you could with the tools you had. And Katie and I both felt it was really important to look at the bigger landscape, including what the National ADHD Report revealed about how much still needs fixing and why it matters for everyone of us.

We also heard from people who have spent years researching, advocating, and supporting others through late diagnosis, regulations, struggles, things like medication journeys, and the slow process of coming to acceptance. And a theme that kept coming back was the voice in your head, that one that tells you you're behind or you're just not enough. Together, we asked what would happen if you spoke to yourself for the little more patience, space and understanding. You can listen back to all of these episodes and many more wherever you get your podcasts.

And if you want something to keep you company, in the meantime, you can find us on Instagram and TikTok, just search for your wrong about ADHD. But before we go, here's a small thought for the new year. Do give yourself permission to slow down when you need to. We know it is not laziness, it is care.

And remember, progress can be quiet and gentle. You are allowed to take the year at your own pace. Thank you so much for spending your time with us in 2025, and we will see you very soon in 2026. This has been a global player original production.
