Looking back on the USMNT's 2023

from Here and Abroad Hosted by Frank Garza

It’s been just over a week since the USMNT won their two-legged Nations League quarterfinal against Trinidad & Tobago. With that win they advanced to the Nations League semifinals and also qualified for the Copa America next year. The team won’t play again in 2023 and so I thought it would be a good time to look back on the past year and discuss some of the highlights, some of the things that went well, and some areas where we’d still like to see some improvement. To help me talk through those things today, I’ve invited Brian Sciaretta to join the show. Brian is a writer at American Soccer Now. His work also appears in various newspapers across the country and he’s a frequent guest on Talksport & SiriusXM.
