Looking for hope

On a cold and snowy night in January a full house gathered at Hildegarde’s Bakery in Winnipeg, in the wintery centre of Canada. We were there looking for hope.  Our guide was Zoe Matties, a member of saint benedict’s table and the Manitoba program director for A Rocha Canada.That’s an international Christian environmental group writing a new story of possibility and hope while the depressing and distressing effects of climate change rage like a prairie storm. In this episode Zoe explains how and why A Rocha dares to sketch a new reality in these dark days and she gives us three concrete ways to live more abundantly and lessen our impact on the earth.This is a recording of our semi-regular ideaExchange series which is where we head to the other side of the stained glass to wrestle with ideas of faith and action.
