Do they sign or trade for competition for Trubisky? They just released Prince Amukamara and Taylor Gabriel- so apparently they need some cap space for something. They also can release Leonard Floyd$13,222,000, Akiem Hicks DT ($3,000,000) $11,800,000, and Cordarrelle Patterson $5,750,000 for some space. They also have a few guys leaving in Danny trevathian, Haha clinton dix, Chase daniels, Aaron lynch and Ted larsen. Their star guard Kyle Long also just announced his retirement. Their offensive line situation isnt doing them any favors. Oh did we mention the Bears don’t have a first round pick? Their work is gonna be cut out for them- its an uphill battle making that defense return to form.Next up is the Arizona Cardinals who have a top ten pick this year and $51,540,295 in cap space. That can go quickly. What a ride its been with the cardinals this last year?The Arizona Cardinals might’ve traded away a quarterback they drafted in the first round last year and picked a QB at number 1 overall. It does look like the Kliff Kingsbury expirement is here to stay for another year. They drafted a bunch of wide receivers last year- saw some developmetn from christian kirk and they also resigned old vet Larry Fitz. Does that mean they stay away from drafting one of the highly coveted receivers this year? They havent hit free agency yet but they already have made moves by resigning tackle DJ Humphries. They paid to keep some consistency on the offensive line- as well as to avoid getting worse. Does that change their strategy going into free agency? There has been some talk about trading David Johnson and Franchise tagging Kenyan Drake (that sounds like a lot of money tide to runningbacks). Stil if the team is looking to clear more cap they have a few options- Patrick Peterson doesnt have much guaranteed money left- and they might be eager to cut lose, seeing that he came off a PED suspension shortened season. A few other candidates to cut or traded: Corey Peters DT ($687,500) $4,187,500, Maxx Williams TE ($500,000) $3,400,000,,Robert Alford CB ($3,000,000) $7,500,000, J.R. Sweezy G ($1,500,000) $5,500,000 and Haason Reddick ILB ($1,985,540) $4,288,444 .Also, don’t think the Cardinals are set at offensive line just yet- they still have a few offensive linemen potentially walking in free agncy: Marcus Gilbert RT ARI, Max Garcia G ARI UFA A.Q. Shipley C ARI UFA, Charles Clay ,- Rodney Gunter DE and kicker Zane Gonzalez RFA.
