Looking Out for Neglected Children-Lawn Mower Injuries

On an average day in the US, 13 children receive emergency treatment for a lawn mower-related injury. Tracy Mehan, Manager of Translational Research for the Center for Injury Research and Policy at the Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio talked about the most common injuries and how they typically vary, depending on the age of the child. She offered suggestions for parents on how to prevent lawn mower-related injuries.
