Looking to be found

Looking to be found  I’m growing tired of the same old rhetoric that’s being spoke Like listening to a pull string toy repeating cause it’s broke  All about tearing down agendas, and protecting us from the woke  Stripping women of their rights, I can’t believe what I hear spoke  How can anyone believe the lies that crazy file hider keeps handing  He practically sold out the constitution just to improve his standing  Denying the truth, cheating and lying in the name of liberty and justice  While he sat foaming at the mouth watching his minions carry out his ruckus  I’m not ready to give up on the red white and blue just yet people  Some will search a book, some’ll find answers praying under a steeple  I’m not sure where the answers lie, but it’s easy to hear the questions  are all around  And we’re lost being guided by too many seeking profits from those  looking to be found Still I’m labeled woke for wanting to level a playing field built on lies On the backs of the ones who got in the way, trampled justice dies And in the name of law and order we just won’t talk about their rights Fire up the crosses, pay the judges to go fishing gonna be one of those  nights I’m not sure putting guns in school is a lesson we ought to be teaching  either  Schools are where you learn our history and values, you’re preaching  neither  Teens don’t need to be toting AR15’s on their way home from school Fear is voting for anyone connected to that crooked Cheeto colored  Fool I’m not ready to give up on the red white and blue just yet people  Some will search a book, some’ll find answers praying under a steeple  I’m not sure where the answers lie, but it’s easy to hear the questions  are all around  And we’re lost being guided by too many seeking profits from those  looking to be found Tim Windisch 09/03/2022
