Looking Toward The Eagles Offseason (PST Episode 503)

from The Philadelphia Sports Table | Philly Sports News & Views · host The Philadelphia Sports Table

We’re finally ready to start taking about this Philadelphia Eagles team once again. The offseason is here and there are a ton of decisions Howie Roseman will need to make about the future of the team. Whether it’s free agency or the NFL Draft, we will see a different team come Training Camp this summer. Gino Cammilleri from the Locked on Eagles podcast joined us for a deep dive into what this offseason is going to look like. It was a great discussion! But first, we dove into our new top-3 list: the top-3 Philly sports athletes of the past 10-years we swore were going to evolve into a superstar or total stud, we defended this athlete, but they never reached their full potential or bottomed out. (approx. 7:35)We then discussed how the Sixers just don’t appear to be that team to beat the Celtics or the Bucks at this point in the season. 24:25)From there we had an interesting discussion about the future of Rhys Hoskins on this Phillies team, and the future of the first base position. (approx. 33:15)We always love getting Listener Feedback and responded to a listener’s email about whether or not Howie Roseman get the job done again this offseason? (approx. 39:45)What we threw down on the Table this week was an in-depth discussion with Gino Cammilleri from the Locked on Eagles podcast about where the Birds go within this offseason. We took a look at the new Offensive and Defensive Coordinators. How might free agency look? Who stays and who goes? What might the defensive line look like in 2023? Plus much more this week on the Table!
