Looking Unto Jesus

The sermon exhorts believers to persevere in their faith by fixing their gaze on Jesus rather than looking back at past failures or forward at current struggles. Drawing from Hebrews 12, the message highlights the 'cloud of witnesses' as motivation while warning against the paralyzing effects of sin and distraction. Through personal anecdotes about ministry challenges and spiritual discouragement, the text illustrates how focusing on Christ's superior personhood provides strength to finish the race. The central argument asserts that Jesus is better than any earthly leader or system, offering a secure foundation for those tempted to backslide. Ultimately, the message calls for active endurance and worship, reminding listeners that looking unto Jesus transforms their perspective and sustains their spiritual journey.
