Loose Him

We love to preach about Jesus, who shows up when all hope is gone. But what about the resurrection power that reaches back into your past? In John 11, Lazarus walked out of the tomb alive, yet still bound hand and foot. Jesus' command, "Loose him, and let him go," still echoes through the graveyard of your yesterdays. Your spirit may be born again, but the war with the flesh is real, and sanctification is ongoing. In this message, we discover: Why Jesus calls us out and commands the grave clothes to come off How union with Christ gives us a brand-new identity How Jacob, Paul, and Lazarus all walked away from the identity of their past Why a defeated Christian life is only grave clothes left over from the old life, not who you are If you are watching online, exploring faith, or returning to the faith of your childhood, you are welcome here with your questions and doubts.
