Lopa’s Interceptions Seal Cal’s Win | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Cal pulls off a dramatic 21-18 win over Syracuse, sealing it with Kingston Lopa’s third interception of the day — a stunning defensive performance that marks Tosh Lupoi’s first victory as head coach. Syracuse led 12-7 at halftime thanks to solid drives, but costly penalties gave Cal opportunities to stay in it. The offense sputtered much of the game, but the defense rose to the occasion, forcing turnovers and key stops. After Syracuse took an 18-14 lead in the third, Cal stormed back, setting up a nail-biting finish where a missed field goal by Syracuse sealed their fate. Lopa’s clutch plays late proved decisive — a gritty, resilient win that sets the tone for what’s ahead. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
