Lord and Savior (Tom Pound)

This weekend we will delve deeper into the significance of fixing our eyes on Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Reflecting on Colossians 1:12-14, we'll explore how Jesus rescues us from darkness, forgives our sins, and invites us into His kingdom. Through Romans 10:9, we'll reaffirm that salvation comes through faith alone in Jesus Christ. Examining 2 Peter 3:18, we'll contemplate what it means to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior. We'll ponder the implications of accepting Jesus not only as our Savior but also as our Lord, acknowledging His authority and sovereignty in our lives. We'll reflect on the transformative power of Jesus beyond salvation. Just as He saves us from sin, He desires to save us from fear, anxiety, and purposelessness. Through Matthew 6:25, 31-33 and John 14:27, we'll explore how Jesus offers us His peace amidst life's challenges. We'll also consider the significance of surrendering to Jesus as our Lord, embracing His teachings, and following His guidance. Romans 14:9 reminds us of His authority as Lord of both the living and the dead. Join us as we examine our own journeys of faith, obedience, and surrender to Jesus. Let's discover how fixing our eyes on Him transforms our lives and leads us into a deeper relationship with our Savior and Lord.
