Lord's Day Worship 06/06/2021

Exodus is a dramatic book. Pharaoh provides the cruel villain, with Moses cast as the unlikely hero. There are earth shaking plagues, a dramatic and miraculous escape, a long journey, a climb up the mountain of God, who remains hidden in darkness. And then, in the grand finale, the glory of the Lord comes down from the top of the mountain and fills the little mountain that is the Tabernacle with His glory. As we give our attention to this Exodus story, I hope that you will come to realize that everything that happens in that book is also happening in you. And that even as God sent Moses to the Hebrews, God has also sent Christ to us. Christ. He who is the greater Moses who delivers not just Israel, but the whole world from bondage. So come.
