Great. Once a rich man, well-educated man, he got all resources with him. But unfortunately, he could not be able to find some time for God. Parents, elders from church, they all advise him to go to church, spend some time with God.

But he thought that's important, but at the same time, I have so many other commitments in my life. So I cannot be able to spend time right now. But I will do some God's work after my retirement. He was quite successfully in his work.

He was pretty committed. One day he got a letter. They called him for a project presentation. It was a million dollar project.

The day came, he prepared very well. He came out of the home. He lived in a very remote location. When he came out of the home, he started the car.

Unfortunately, the car didn't start. It's for a distance. The only way for him to reach the destination on that day, he has to take a train. To take a train, he has to cross the very dense forest, the Shocket.

When he was going through the dense forest, he found the roaring lion. He was so scared, so panicked. What to do now? Because he was so well-educated, he thought that maybe I can just run backwards.

Then he thought that, oh no, lion may be running faster than me. That will not work. Then he thought probably may. Can I climb the tree?

Oh no, I'm in full suit tie and everything laptop. How can I climb the tree now? It's not possible. Maybe can I go and hide in a bush?

Maybe the lion can smell and can come and attack. So as we all know, when we try so many things in our life, we're on our own efforts, then finally what we do, we come to the Lord. He's no different than us. What he did, he knelt down and prayed to God, Lord, helped me to escape from this lion.

Please help me. Please help me. He prayed a very long prayer and when he opened his eyes, what a great surprise. You know, the lion was in front of him and he saw that lion's eyes also closed.

He couldn't believe that. And then with the curiosity, he asked the lion, what makes you so humble in front of me? The lion told him that for every good meal, I remember my Creator. Efficient five fifteen says, be very careful than how you leave, not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity because the days are evil.

Way to see all of you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I thank God for his grace and kindness. It is such a great joy for me to share the God of God this morning with you. I thank God to Bible Chapel family for asking me to share the word this morning.

The title of my message today is Divine Intelligence over artificial intelligence. I believe this is something very important for us to understand in our time. When technology is advancing faster than ever in a world talk so much about AI, smart systems and digital brains, it's time for us to pass and think who is the true source of all true intelligence. I saw your 40, 28.

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor his weary, his understanding is unsearchable. That means beyond our understanding.

This verse reminds us that God's intelligence has no limit. He is the Creator of all things. God's Divine Intelligence, however is infinite. His intelligence is eternal.

His intelligence is perfect. You know when you think about artificial intelligence, it can think first, make predictions and even create things that look intelligent. AI no matter how advanced is still a creation of a human mind. AI can imitate human thinking but the Divine Intelligence is a source of all truth.

Let us bow our head for a word of prayer. Our loving heavenly Father, thank you for this time to hear your word. Please help everyone to listen with open hearts and clear minds. Let your holy spirit guide the message and bring understanding and strength to all the word of my mouth and the meditation of our hearts.

Be acceptable in your sight. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. Let me start with few questions for everyone.

How many of you use technology every day? Everybody, everybody. Without technology it's difficult for us to leave. Maybe you are using smartphone or using GPS or even talk to three or Alexa.

Most of these things even I don't know my children they knew about all these different technologies. Have you ever tried the message and autocorrect changed your words into something totally wrong? It happened many times to me. Something is sometimes too bad you know.

Then I have to send it off saying oofs that's not what I meant. Is that happened to you? Have you ever noticed YouTube or Netflix or TikTok seems to know what you like? You know when you watch one video all of a sudden it says you might like this.

How did it know? Is technology important for us? The answer is yes. The technology is important.

I am sure no one wants to leave without technology. We all prefer technology. Anybody would like to come with a horse to the chapel? No.

With a blow-cought? No. We all need. We would like to drive Tesla, Ford, Toyota, any other car, whatever you drive.

No. We like speed. We like comfort. We like air conditioning.

Even more. We will tell the GPS to tell the direction for us. Even we don't want to think. God has given us all of us thinking ability for us.

Even we don't want to use our thinking ability. We will tell everything to the machines. Whenever I go for a long drive, I got a new car. My wife always sits beside me.

She is like a human GPS for me. She provides direction. Sometimes she provides the wrong direction too. Then we have a little bit of fight each other.

Then she says to me, use your common sense. I told you to because all men we know that. Wives right. Sometimes they provide some direction.

That's not right. I noticed that she also makes sure that for going for a long drive, she says that make sure or if you are tired, please stop it. Sometimes she forgets to ask that. I noticed that in my car, in the dashboard, it comes, would you like to take a break?

How come that car knows? Sometimes I ignore it. I have to go. I have only little time.

I have to go. Then it won't allow me to start. Then again, after a few minutes, it was, would you like to take a break? Sounds good, isn't it?

Technology is a critical component of our world today. Then it comes with communications. We all know that anywhere. Whether you live in India, China or Europe, anywhere.

We can talk. We can see parents and talk to them. One good thing in technology recently, I noticed that. One time my sister called months before somebody banked the door back in India.

My parents were really afraid. They called the police and the first thing the police asked, hey, do you have a camera in your car? CCTV camera. So my parents said no.

Then we helped them to put the CCTV camera so that I can watch in India. More than 10,000 kilometers away. I can watch what's going on over there. One good thing I noticed is that my sister called my parents.

She talked to my mother and then my mother, she asked, can you give the phone to my father? My mother probably said, no, he's not at home. He's somewhere like that. Then she turned on the camera and saw my father was in the room.

Then she called me. My mother told me she was not at home, but I saw the father at home. This one way is good. The technology helps sometimes.

We can't say whatever we want. We have to speak the truth. Sometimes when you're in front of the camera, you're very cautious. So a lot of good things about the technology.

What about the bad stuff? What about the negative side? You know, the constant notifications. You may have experienced in the nighttime, even before you're going to bed.

Trying, trying, do you hear that sound? Oh my goodness. Who, who, who, who, who, who is it? It's just a very, very notification or a very update.

That's it. Oh, they sleep gone. Then long screen time. I was talking to brother hands a couple of days before the the drawbacks of sitting in front of the computer for a long time, ice rain, back rain and all those kinds of things.

Then sometimes it makes us anxious, sad and frustrated, mental and emotional struggles. You know, in Canada, we know that like they are spending millions and millions of dollars for emotional and the well-being. That is a negative or the bad side of it. That is one other side.

You know, that is the dark side of the technology. We all know that what's the dark side of the technology, cyber attacks, cyber theft. You know, the psychological behind the tech design. I think two weeks before Brother Stephen reminded of that in back, like in banks, in music industries, you know, the hook model, it says create habit forming products that tech companies, they employ sophisticated psychology strategies to keep users hooked on the products.

Then that's called FOMO. FOMO, fear of missing out. When you're sitting in front of the computer, when you're looking for some information, you start scrolling, scrolling, that's no end. Why?

Because you have a fear, maybe something more is written over there or it gives some kind of attraction for you to read more and more digital distraction. When you're reading Bible online, what happens? Ten other parts of comes in. Then you started studying time for reading, but you are focusing on something else.

Loss of privacy. So many things. Now, we are moved to step further. The technology that can think, learn and decide that is artificial intelligence.

You know, the term artificial intelligence coined by John McAfee was the first faculty for AI in Stanford University. He defined the science and engineering of making intelligent machines. There is no single universally definition for artificial intelligence. But the Oxford dictionary states like this, the capacity of computers or other machines to exhibit intelligent behavior.

I'm not going to take an artificial intelligence class today, but I want to quickly touch few points that will help you to understand. When we think about AI, there are three things. The first thing is the algorithm that people call as the brain of artificial technology, artificial intelligence. Then comes the data.

That is the fuel that drives artificial intelligence. And then the third one is the computing power. That is the machine behind the artificial intelligence. For many, many years, we have been using the prefixes like you know, like NP, megabytes.

Then we have used like kilobytes, gigabytes. You know, those are some of the things. But now as global technology, the data is for which exploded in every sectors. I work for the environmental sectors.

We always work with the data, bring more data, whether data, data data data data. Now the scientists have to come with different units. When I look at that, they have increased. It says that one is the run a byte.

The other one is greater byte. When I look at that number, when I was preparing this sermon, probably if this number is my paycheck, that would be great, isn't it? So they have added. So more and more data, more and more data.

These are the fathers, founding fathers of artificial intelligence. Just quickly go, Alan Turing is one of the main guys, the core breaker during the Second World War. Mathematician and computer scientists from United Kingdom. Alan Newell, Herbert, John McCarthy, Mauryn Mealski, all these guys, they put a lot of time on their note.

And then all of a sudden, while it was dotted, what is the birthplace of artificial intelligence, then I found it's Dartmouth. Oh, that's not Dartmouth, it's in the United States, in Hampshire, New Hampshire. Okay. So that was the first place that the term, the artificial intelligence that was born.

I would like to highlight quickly the 10 stages of artificial intelligence. From the single rule machine, we started with all the way the imagined future artificial intelligence, Godlike AI. The first one is a rule based AI. Let us begin with the first stage.

You know, this kind of AI that works in a set or fixed rules. You know, it cannot learn new things or change its behavior on its own. Like say for example, like Alarum clock or your thermostat. That is the best example of the rule based AI.

The second one that is called the context based AI. The second state, this type of AI is more than the rule based system. It is, it does not follow fixed instructions. It looks at the situations before making a decision.

Say for example, like Siri or Alexa, when you ask about your weather, they don't just give a simple report. They might also say that you might need a number of them. It's right is expected. Then the third one, it is a narrow domain AI.

So this kind of AI is designed to do one specific talks extremely well, often even better than the humans. For example, in medicine, the narrow AI can study thousands of medical records and research papers to help doctors find possible illnesses or treatments. Then the stage four, that is the AI tries to think and reason like a human mind. You know, it does not just follow the rules of recognized patterns.

It looks for information, can its ideas and draw logical conclusion? Say for example, chat GPT. Have you ever used chat GPT? No, very good.

So, so the next one is the self-hour systems. Sorry, before that. All right. The self-hour system is, AI could understand itself and having thoughts and feelings in a way we might not even fully comprehend.

That's the self-hour AI. Then we have artificial intelligence, AI. So this one is a system can do any task a human can do. It's still in a theoretical face.

Yeah, totally fully qualifies. So a lot of research and millions of dollars people spending to come to do this artificial general intelligence. Then comes the artificial super intelligent one. So the super intelligence one is it is the AI can help from humans.

It becomes first not to do all human knowledge combined. So still that kind of research in a theoretical stage. Then we have transcendent AI. So this stage of AI, it can go beyond anything we have seen before.

It can even damage the ecosystems, clean the environment or even change the surface of other planets to make them liveable. Then we have cosmic AI. The cosmic AI is something that is something extremely powerful and able to have challenges and beyond our world. You know, it could lead exploration of space, sending out self replicating pose to create a network of intelligence across the galaxy.

The last one they are talking about is a godlike AI. You know, AI could do anything we can't even imagine right now. It could assist in this. We cannot imagine multiple dimensions across the power universe and drawing knowledge from infinite realities.

You know, Professor John Lennox from Oxford University says, AI is humanities attempt to make god. So all these stages, what you are seeing the high order in yellow and red is all speculative. It's not ready now. We are right now within the narrow artificial intelligence.

People call that is a weak artificial intelligence and people working towards in this direction. And just in 2023 itself, the great magazines like Time, Science and Cosmopolitan and the economics, they all have a dedicated stories of artificial intelligence. So AI is a revolutionary technology. It's indeed a paradigm shift because all what they are looking for is the maximum results in a minimum amount of time.

We have all one that we everyone, we don't have a patience. If you are looking for some information, we want to take it right away. We don't have the time to read the book or things like that. Just open the computer.

Just get the information. That's how they are working. The maximum results in a minimum amount of time. So people say here is the future.

It can think like this. But the question I would like to raise, can it feel? Can it loud? Can it descend right from wrong?

The answer is no. What about the divine intelligence? So when we speak of divine intelligence, we are talking about the creator himself. God could design the universe with purpose.

I would like to read from 2nd Peter, 1.21, therefore prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. Yesterday in our men's Bible study, we discussed about the flesh and spirit from women's chapter 8. To live in flesh, that means depending on self. To live in spirit, that means living under the guidance of holy spirits.

Romans 5, 5. It says, now hope does not disappoint because the law of God has been poured out in our hearts by the holy spirit was given to us. The prophecy never came by the will of man. Prophecy is not a human intervention, but a divine revelation.

Here we need to understand about truth. It is very important. Fat and data are not the same as truth. Truth is not a concept.

Truth is a person. Jesus Christ. Jesus said, I am the whole, the truth and the life. There is a difference between a human revelation powered by intellect and a divine revelation powered by the spirit.

We are not the products of human programming. We are the divinely constructed for God's glory. We are constructed divinely. Artificial intelligence can think fast, but it cannot descend right from wrong.

It can learn from data, but God's intelligence is not learned. It is eternal. He is omnipotent. He is powerful.

The God is not an omniscient, all knowing, omnipresent. Present everywhere. Genesis 1, 1. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

It is very important for us to know, to understand each step of creation being with the Word of God and input of intelligence from outside the system. For John Inox mentioned in this way, the complexity of life is not self-generated. There is an input of energy from the outside. What is the input of that energy?

That's the Word of God. In John 1, verses 1, 2, 3. It says, in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.

All things were made through Him and without Him, nothing was made. That was made. Amen? In Genesis 1, 27.

So God created man in His own image. In the image of God, He created male and female. He created only two sects, male and female. Psalms 147, 5, great is a lot and mighty in power.

His understanding is infinite. Isaiah chapter 55, verse 8 and 9 says, for my thoughts are not your thoughts nor your ways, my ways, say the Lord, for us the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. My brothers and sisters, no one owns artificial intelligence, no controls life itself. God is the creator of all the humanity and all the things.

Psalms 24, 1, reminds us the Lord, all its fillers, the world and those who dwell therein. Yeah, it has no moral. Moral distance from God, true morality, originates from God's character and commandments. Humans have a genetic conscience.

That's what we see in Romans 2, but this is them and discernment because of relationship with God and guidance from the Holy Spirit. That's what we see in James chapter 1, verse 5. The wonders of God's creation, or Denny or Faulkner says of a galaxy. The Milky Way is the magnificent collection of few hundred billion stars, but the Milky Way is just one of over hundred billion galaxies.

The number of the stars in the universe is staggering. We cannot count the stars. Genesis 15. But God can and He calls them all by name Psalms 147.

We read that. This speaks of God's mighty power in creation. Last time David Hanson spoke about the wonders of God's creation. Brother explained about the complex city and the functionality of human DNA.

You know, the human genome is approximately 3.2 billion base pairs, which are the letters of our genetic code found in the DNA. In the human genome project, scientists around the world worked for several years and they sequenced all 3.2 billion pairs in the human genome. In today's world, we talk about quotes, QR quotes, QR codes, computer codes, cell phone codes, and many more, which I don't know. DNA is the code for life.

DNA codes are very informative. They also provide evidence of God's wisdom and craft. DNA in a way that's a signature of God. When engineers try to build robots, they realize how amazing and complex in human body, something they cannot be able to fully copy it.

Stuart Butler is the professor of engineering design at University of Bristol. He says an adult has over 60,000 miles of blood vessels that view around every part of the body. That is approximately 100,000 kilometers. Can you imagine that?

The placement of those vessels is so accurate that every one of the bodies trillions of cells is no more than a function of a millimeter from a blood vessel. Such awesome design shows God is infinite in understanding and knowledge. Psalms 139 verses 13 and 14 say David writes about the structure, the given parts that have been woven into the body by the creator. For you formed my given parts, you knitted me together in my mother's own.

I praise you, I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works. My soul knows it very well. Psalms 124, 24 it says, Oh Lord, how manifold are your works.

In wisdom you have made them all. They are the full of your possessions. When we look at creation, the sky, the stars, the oceans, human our own bodies, we see the wisdom of God displayed everywhere. I want to finish with this title.

How should we Christian respond to the rise of artificial intelligence? I think technology itself is not evil. It's a moral. The real question is not what we create, but why we use it and how we use it.

Then we use the technology for God's glorious, whether we like it or not, artificial intelligence is already here and changing our world. But there are more than 70,000 companies around the world. They are focusing on artificial intelligence. Yeah, it's no longer something in the future.

It is happening right now. Big technology companies and even governments are working to build AI-powered control systems. That system can track, manage and influence how people think and act. Yeah, it's not only shaping the businesses and governments.

It is also influencing, start influencing the church. According to the church tech, 87th percentage of church leaders, they say about, yeah, they are using AI in some way or other. Maybe they are using it for communication or administration or for any kind of media purposes. You know, on October 5th, Brother Stephen might have spoke about the battle for the mind.

Brother reminded us, Romans told too, and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the reviewing of your mind that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God. If you don't feed our minds with truth, the world will feed it with lies. I'm not saying go and throw your iPhone and computers in a dustbin. It's quite expensive.

I'm not saying that, but we need to use them with discernment. The word artificial intelligence is not directly found in the Bible, but in Revelation 13, we read the beast from the earth. And he defeats those who dwell on the earth by those signs, which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

He causes all both small and great rich, poor, free and slave to the beast. If you see your mark on the right hand on the foreheads and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark of the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is the wisdom of him who has understanding the number of the beast for it is the number of a man. His number is 666.

Is he connected to this? I don't know. But the Bible talks about the signs of the end days. We are slowly moving towards the one world system.

Daniel the Prophet wants us of the terrible end time and he wants that will affect the entire world. He reminded us the worldly knowledge we increase that we are seeing today. For Peter 5, 8 says, be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil walks about a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Have you seen something like this before?

The Bible shows that humanity has already been something similar situation in the Tower of Babel. At that time the whole world spoke of one language and used the same words. People together came and said in Genesis 114 and they said, come let us build our self a city and the tower whose top is in the heavens. Let us make the name for ourselves lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.

The goal was not to glorify God but to glorify themselves. They wanted to be powerful, united and independent from God. So the Lord scattered was 8 says to the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth and they ceased building the city. My dear brothers and sisters, the real problem, the real issue is spiritual, not intellectual.

Sin is the root cause of human struggle. You know, sin began with the disobedience of God. With all great potential of artificial intelligence, human problems still remain unsolved because our issues are not intelligence problems but spiritual problems. That is why we all need as a savior, our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

We think that if we can convince smarter machines, stronger systems, faster solutions, we can fix all the human problems. But friends, our greatest problem has never been a lack of knowledge. It is a lack of disobedience to God. In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve, they were not an ignorant people.

They had a direct fellowship with God. Therefore did not come back from the lack of knowledge but from disobedience. Romans chapter 323 to 26 for all the sin then falls short of the glory of God being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whose God said for us a propitiation by his blood through faith to demonstrate his righteousness because in his forbearance, God had passed over the sins that were previously committed to demonstrate at the present time his righteousness that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. I write a close with few questions.

We may ask questions to ourselves as a Christian. Can I really report from AI in technology? Will the troubles of this world ever come to an end? Will the pain, suffering and hardships be faced ever stop?

Will wath, earthquakes and natural disasters ever cease? Probably the answer is no. This morning, Brother John Wells reminded us from 1st Corinthians chapter 15. The last enemy is death.

There will be a day. That will be a glorious day. Every knee shall bow. Every tongue will confess that he is Lord.

I would like to finish with the beautiful illustration, the rock in the river. A man of God was going through a very difficult trial in his life. In the midst of all his struggles, God gave him a dream. In the dream he saw himself in a boat trying to cross the river.

But under the surface of the water was a huge rock and every time he tried to move forward, the boat keep hitting the rock. He turned left again. The boat was hitting the rock. He turned backwards, left, right, any direction.

It was keep on hitting the rock. He tried so many ways. No matter how hard he rode, he could not able to pass it because there was a rock that constantly blocking him to move forward. He started praying in the dream, saying, Lord, please remove the rock.

Take it away from me. I do not want. Even in our life. Every day, sometimes we play the same prayer.

Lord, I do not want this sickness anymore. I want to work under this difficult boss. No, please take it away from me. Most of the time we pray in that.

But the rock didn't move. Then the Lord spoke to him in the dream. He said, I will not remove the rock, but I will raise the level of water and you will be able to pass through. Amen?

We may go through so many challenges, difficult circumstances in our life. He may not be able to remove the rock, but in his grace, in his glory, he will rise the level of water so that we can be able to pass through. He is ways are different. Sometimes he does not remove the problem.

God's grace doesn't mean we won't face any of these trials or challenges. It means he says, my grace is sufficient for you. In our weaknesses, in our trials, in our challenges. Like the way he rises the water level, then we can be able to increase our capacity, our strength and our faith.

My dear brothers and sisters, the Bible says the Lord himself goes before you and will be with you. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged.

Amen. Let's pray. Father, we thank you for your word. Thank you for reminding us that all true wisdom and knowledge come from you alone.

As we live in this world, filled with technology and artificial intelligence, help us to seek divine intelligence, your wisdom, your guidance and your spirit to lead us in every decision. May the grace of all Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all now and forevermore. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
