Lorenzo Yearby talks about playing Lucky in the movie "The 24th"

Lorenzo Yearby joins host Elias on a weekend episode. Lorenzo can be seen as ‘Lucky’ in Vertical Entertainment’s newest film The 24th available to stream VOD. The film tells the true story of the Houston Riot of 1917, and stars Trai Byers, Aja Naomi King, Mo McRae and Thomas Haden Church. Producer Alexandra Milchan says Lorenzo is “the heart of the film” and this breakout role has been compared to that of Lupita Nyong’o’s in 12 Years A Slave.  Lorenzo is also a screenwriter and director, and is the mastermind behind the alter ego, Pastor Petty.
