Lorinda Van Newkirk

Lorinda “Lo” Van Newkirk is a powerhouse entrepreneur, innovator, and leader with more than 25 years of experience building businesses and breaking barriers across the agricultural, Western, and fashion industries. As the founder and president of Lucky Chuck®, Lorinda has built a brand recognized for durable, performance-driven products trusted by cowboys and cowgirls across the country. Her entrepreneurial vision and impact earned her recognition in Western Life & Style’s “30 Over 30 Class of 2024.” But Lorinda’s story goes far beyond one brand. She has founded and grown multiple successful businesses, including Gypsy Soule and One Stop Cowboy Shop, each reflecting her creativity, determination, and deep connection to the Western lifestyle. Through her Business Connector & Mentoring program, she also invests in the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders, sharing the hard-earned lessons and insights that come from decades of experience. Outside of business, Lorinda is a fierce rodeo competitor, devoted wife and mother, and passionate community advocate. Her journey is a testament to what can happen when resilience, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset come together. In this conversation, we explore what it really takes to build a brand, navigate challenges, create opportunities, and keep moving forward when the path isn’t always easy. Lorinda shares her experiences, lessons, and perspective on entrepreneurship, leadership, and building a future on your own terms.
