An estimated 6.5 million Americans over the age of 65 are living with Alzheimer's.  Alzheimer's and Dementia are commonplace worldwide, in fact, Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of dementia.  Alzheimer’s disease is a type of brain disease, just as coronary artery disease is a type of heart disease. It is caused by damage to nerve cells (neurons) in the brain.  Alzheimer's has personally touched me and my family since my father was diagnosed with it.  I wanted to create a space for many who are affected by this, many who are caretakers, and parents to their kids. "The Sandwich Generation" So let's connect, share and support each other!
