Losing Sammy: A Very Personal Update on My Grief Journey

What if the most impossible loss turns out to set you free in ways you couldn’t imagine?  What if instead of going through loss you could grow through it?  What if you become a more self-actualized, tapped-in and tuned-in empowered version of yourself, because of what you’ve been through (not in spite of it)?  What if love really lives forever and you can learn to continue a relationship with your loved ones on the other side?  What if you didn’t have to go through terrible loss alone or struggle to find the right kind of support or community who understands?  These are questions I couldn’t imagine having, much less answering over three years ago when my son Sammy was killed. Grief became my unwelcome companion, but strangely, it also became my greatest teacher. Healing from loss is messy, unpredictable, and deeply personal. Now, I'm on a mission fueled by passion—to help others like me find their own paths through grief and toward spiritual renewal.
