Lost In Austen - Mini Series Discussion

This week on The Pride and Prejudice Book Club, we took a fun detour from the books and watched the 2008 mini-series Lost in Austen! 🎬 Alicia and Emilie both really enjoyed this quirky time-travel twist, where a modern-day fan swaps places with Elizabeth Bennet. Emilie especially appreciated how the show took Austen fandom seriously, even while keeping things light and fun. Alicia, on the other hand, loved the humor and lightheartedness—though she had to resist thinking too hard about the plot holes! In this episode, we chat about our favorite moments, laugh over some of the more outrageous plot twists, and dive into the ways Lost in Austen played with fan expectations.
