Lost in Translation Episode 42 - Boston Burger Company

from WCTV Podcasting · host WCTV

Lost in Translation hit the road and headed in to the city today, where they sat down with Paul Malvone, co-owner for the renowned Boston Burger Company. Malvone is nearing in on two decades of restaurant ownership, wiht four locations to his name. But it wasn't all easy street, and certainly not a straight line for Malvone, who grew up in Medford and now lives in Wilmington, Mass. With two young kids, Malvone made a huge career change from a federal job working for the Postal Service to opening up a restaurant, and the night before opening he and his partners called an audible, switching from an Italian concept to Burgers with flare. It's had its ups and downs, and covid had his spots on the brink, but Malvone, as always, continued to find a way to survive, reinvent his burgers, and keep a smile on his face. Malvone's son, Joey, who just finished up his high school career playing Hockey and Lacrosse also joined the pod.
