Loud and Local Podcast : StayHome Sessions – Episode 100: King Youngblood

from Loud & Local Podcast

I present EPISODE 100 of the KISW Loud and Local “Stayhome Sessions” with one of the coolest up and coming Seattle rock bands out there today – KING YOUNGBLOOD ! This interview features TWO new singles by King Youngblood. On March 29th, 2020 – as the venues around town closed and a good majority of us were staying home for an unforeseen amount of time, the future of Loud and Local was in jeopardy. Without the ability to broadcast live with bands in studio, I decided to pivot a bit and launched the Loud and Local “Stayhome Sessions” podcast. Through this new incarnation of Loud and Local, I’ve been able to connect with musicians during a scary and strange time. It was therapeutic to see old friends and make new ones via zoom and chat about something that wasn’t 100% doom and gloom – music. I spoke with so many incredible musicians over the past 18+ months.  If you’re one of them THANK YOU. A question I ask a lot of the artists I interview is “How are you staying sane during this pandemic?” Well, the truth is that THIS right here is what kept me sane. I look forward to more of these episodes and hopefully a return to the studio for live in-person interviews (imagine that) sometime in the future.
