Louisiana Politics and a little National Politics

In less than two weeks we have seen several long term and prominent Republican Senators and a U.S. Congressman get defeated as Trump endorsed their opponents.  Bill Cassidy, a friend and former school mate came in 3rd here in Louisiana while long term Texas Senator, John Cornyn lost in his primary to Trump endorsed AG Ken Paxton.  One of the two candidates in the runoff in Louisiana even stated that President Trump is the greatest president the United States has ever had.  Guess who has his endorsement?  What I don't want are politicians who will do all of his bidding without hesitation.  I want politicians on both sides of the aisle that can think and weigh what they believe is the right decision.  Is there where we are headed?  Is the legislative branch not an independent branch of government any more?Also cannot wait for the Los Angeles mayor's race coming up soon!Enjoy,KF
