Louisville Eyes Playoff Push Against Ole Miss | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

Jeff Brohm’s Louisville Cardinals are on a mission to crack the College Football Playoff, riding a wave of recent wins and bowl victories. This Sunday, they kick off their non-conference slate with a high-stakes showdown against Ole Miss in Nashville — their second-ever meeting after a 2021 loss. Originally slated to face Charlotte, Brohm has been aggressively pursuing marquee matchups like Tennessee and even had a potential home-and-home with Georgia (though that fell through, with whispers suggesting Georgia pushed harder for cancellation). With eyes on national relevance, this Ole Miss clash is a pivotal step in Brohm’s blueprint to elevate Louisville into playoff contention.
