Louisville Football 2027 Recruiting Needs

Louisville’s football program is on a recruiting tear, already locked in four commitments for 2027 and ranked as high as 27th nationally, but with 23 scholarship players graduating and NFL departures looming, they’re racing to fill gaps. Head coach Jeff Brohm’s portal-heavy strategy continues, but high school recruiting is gaining steam. Offense looks solid at QB and RB, but WR and TE need reinforcements. The biggest hole? Offensive line—with seven linemen graduating and only one commit, the portal will likely be the answer. Defensively, the front seven is set, but linebacker is a critical need with up to four departures. Secondary is stable, but adding one more DB would help as they chase a flip.
