Louisville Football Surges Into Season | Louisville Football News

Louisville football is ranked No. 24 in the preseason AP Poll — their highest mark since Lamar Jackson’s breakout 2017 season. After three straight nine-win campaigns under Jeff Brohm and a massive transfer portal overhaul with over 33 new players, including top-four-star recruits, the Cardinals are firing on all cylinders. The running back tandem of Isaac and Keyjuan Brown has national buzz, while offensive additions like Lincoln Kienholz and Brody Foley pair with a stout defense anchored by returning stars Clev Lubin and AJ Green. With a huge opener against No. 9 Ole Miss, this team could be primed for an ACC title run — and maybe even a playoff berth.
