Louisville Heads to Bahamas for Summer Prep | Louisville Basketball News

Louisville’s men’s basketball team is heading to the Bahamas this July for two high-stakes exhibition games at the Baha Mar Hoops Summer League — a strategic move by Coach Pat Kelsey to maximize practice time and build chemistry before the regular season. With a roster full of new faces and transfers, the trip offers a low-pressure environment to test chemistry, refine systems, and get a head start on the grind. It’s not the first time the Cardinals have hit the islands — this is their second trip in three summers — and Kelsey believes it’s a critical step in building a competitive team. Other power programs like Arkansas and Texas A&M are also taking part, making it a growing trend in college hoops prep.
