I am proudly connected to the Hometown Heroes campaign celebrating various luminaries smiling from building banners. Muhammad Ali, Dr. Kevin Cosby, John Asher, Jennifer Lawrence, Will Stein, My Morning Jacket, Jack Harlow, and so many other celebs with local ties appear all around town.But there is only 1 Steve Bass, who quietly funds and organizes a myriad of philanthropic pursuits. He also chairs the Louisville Metro Police Foundation which offers support to law enforcement officers and families. Their emotional and physical support systems buoy our thin blue line.It's time we put that happy STEVE BASS face up in lights to greet drivers rolling into Metro Louisville from all directions! LET'S DO THIS!
